About

A team that builds and keeps its own products

HexFa builds communication and management software. Four products are in use today and a fifth is still to come, and the same people design them, write them and keep them working.

What we do

Products, not projects

Everything on this site is a product we own. That means we are the ones who hear about it when something does not work, and the ones who decide what to do next.

The work runs across voice and video, everyday business operations, and AI an organisation controls for itself. It ships on Android, on iOS and in a browser, and it is tested on all three rather than on whichever one is convenient.

How we work

Four habits that shape the work

None of these is a slogan. Each one is a decision we make again on every product, and the four together are why the work looks the way it does.

  1. Start with the real task

We look at what the person in front of the screen is trying to finish, then build for that.

  2. Make the hard part easier

A feature earns its place when it takes work off someone, not when it adds another step.

  3. Test on the screens people own

Small phones, older phones, wide monitors. If it only works on a new laptop, it is not finished.

  4. Change it when the evidence says so

We keep what holds up in use, and rework what does not, rather than defending the first idea.

What this site says

And what it does not

Every product claim on this site is traceable to something we can show, and the pictures are real screens from the running applications rather than drawings of them.

There are no numbers on this site that we cannot stand behind, so there are very few numbers on it. We do not publish how any product is built, where it runs, or anything belonging to the people who use it.
